Felicity Young was born in Germany and attended boarding school in the UK, while her parents traveled abroad with the British Army.

In 1976, she emigrated with her parents to Western Australia, where she became a nurse, raised three children and completed a degree in English Literature at the University of Western Australia.

In 2005, she published her first contemporary crime fiction novel, A Certain Malice, and then in 2007 published her first Stevie Hooper novel, An Easeful Death, with the second and third novels coming in 2008 and 2010.

In March 2012, Felicity published her first historical crime fiction novel, A Dissection of Murder, featuring England’s first female autopsy surgeon, Dr Dody McCleland.

She currently resides with her family on a Suffolk sheep stud farm north-west of Perth and her website can be found at http://www.felicityyoung.com.
